Answer:
The child is lost in the village fair when he is there with his parents. At the beginning, he is excited and enthusiastic after seeing the toys and stalls of sweets which sell his favourite sweet, barfi. But knowing that his parents would refuse to buy him the sweet, he moved on. The same occurs when he reaches the garland seller, the snake charmer and the balloon vendor. Then he finally asks them to let him ride the swing. But after turning around, he finds himself lost and isolated. These circumstances led him to cry out loud in search of his parents.
