There lived a poor old couple in a village. They are getting poorer every day. One day, the old man asked his wife to cook him a bun. From scraping out the flour-box and by sweeping out the bin, the old lady got enough flour to make the bun.
After baking, she decided to put it on the window and let it cool. But the bun got jumped and rolled outside the home to the road. A rabbit, on seeing this bun, attempted to eat. Upon knowing the intention, the bun decided to sing a song. On the completion of the song, the bun got rolled over and escaped.
After that, fox coming towards it and decided to eat. Again the bun sang the same rhyme. But the clever fox requested it to sing more. The fox also suggested singing by hopping on its tongue, such that it can hear well. The foolish bun, doing so, got gobbled up.
