The liver is one of the excretions that produces waste substances bile and urea fluid

Discussion:

The liver or liver is an internal organ located in the upper right part of the abdominal cavity, under the diaphragm, and above the stomach, right kidney and intestine. The liver filters blood from impurities which will then be removed.

In screening this blood, the liver or liver screens the remaining red blood cells. The liver converts hemoglobin which decomposes from red blood cells that have been damaged or die into pigments (bile) of bile fluid containing bilirubin and biliverdin.

Production of bile also helps get rid of garbage and excess fat in the small intestine during digestion.

The liver also secretes cholesterol, steroid hormones, vitamins and certain drugs from the blood in the bile.

The liver also converts toxic ammonia (NH3) substances to urea (CO (NH₂) ₂). This urea is a metabolic end product of protein and will be excreted in the urine.

When the liver has broken down the harmful substances from the blood above, the by-products will be released or excreted into bile or blood.

A by-product in the form of bile will enter the intestine and will be removed from the body in the form of feces. Meanwhile, the blood by-products will flow to the kidneys to be filtered, and leave the body in the form of urine (urine).

The filtered urea provides a yellow color and a distinctive odor in urine and feces.
