Hi,

Let log 0.0625 with base 2 = x

=> 2^x = 0.0625

=> 2^x = 2^(-4)

=> x = -4

Hope it helped :-)

 log_{2}(0.0625)  = x \\  log_{2}( \frac{625}{10000} ) = x  \\  log_{2}( \frac{1}{16 } ) = x  \\  log_{2}( {2}^{ - 4} )  = x \\ hence \:  \:  {2}^{x}  =  {2}^{ - 4 }  \\ x =  - 4 \\ so \:  log_{2}(0.0625)  =  - 4
