Half of 8.4 is 4.2

Parallelogram perimeter formula is

2(l+b)

2(8.4+4.2)

2 multiply by 12.6

And is 25.2

Answer:

Hence, value of perimeter of parallelogram will be 25.2 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

In context to question asked,

We have to determine the perimeter of parallelogram.

As per question,

Longer sides of parallelogram = 8.4 cm

Shorter side =\frac{Longer\:side}{2} = \frac{8.4}{2} = 4.2\:cm

As we know that,

  • Parallelogram is the quadrilateral whose opposite sides are equal and parallel.
  • None of angle of parallelogram is of right angle.

The perimeter of parallelogram can be determined by using formula -

Perimeter = 2 \times (a+b), where a and b are adjacent sides of parallelogram.

So, for determining the perimeter of parallelogram we will put the value of sides in above formula,

Thus we will get,

Perimeter = 2(8.4+4.2) = 2\times 12.6 = 25.2\:cm
