The longitude of a place is 40° East. The time of this place is 6 am. If the time of another place is 3 hours ahead of the first place, then what will be longitude of the place?​

Answer 1

■ Difference in longitude = 45-15=30

■ if we start from 0° longitude( prime meridian ) to east , with one passing longitude 4 minutes will be added

■so, 30×4 = 120 ( 2 hrs ahead )

■so, time on 45° east will be

9 + 2= 11am
