Longitudinal extent: The measure of the distance longitudinally is referred to as longitudinal extent. The longitudes run from the north pole to the south pole and so from top of the earth to the bottom.

The distance between two longitudes is referred to as longitudinal extent.

Longitudinal extent of Brazil: Brazil being the 4th largest country in the world has an area 4,319 kilometers from east to west (34 degrees 47 minutes 30 seconds E to 73 degree 59 minutes 32 seconds W longitude).

Longitudinal extent of India: India being one of the biggest countries in Asia has an area of 2933 kilometers from east to west (68 degrees 7 minutes E to 97 degrees 25 minutes E longitude)

The difference is ≅ 10 degrees with Brazil being longer.

Hence, from the above facts, the longitudinal extent of Brazil is greater than India.

Hence, false.
