Answer:

Suppose that selling price  of 1 geometry is Rs. 1

selling price of 140 geometry boxes is equal to Rs. 140

Similarly

Selling prices of 10 geometry boxes = Rs. 10

loss = selling prices of 10 geometry boxes = Rs. 10

loss percentage  = loss /cp x 100

                             10 /(140 + 10) x 100 =(20/3)%

Answer:

6 2/3% or 6.6%

Step-by-step explanation:

suppose: the selling price of a box is= 1

the selling price for 140 boxes will be = 1 x 140 = 140

the selling price for 10 boxes will be = 1 x 10 = 10

loss = selling price of 10 box= 10

loss percent formula= loss/CP x 100

CP= 10+140= 150

loss %= 10/150 x 100 = 20/3%= 6.6%
