Solution :-
Radius of the base = Diameter/2
⇒ 56/2 = 28 m
Height of the cylindrical part = 15 m
Curved Surface Area of Cylinder = 2πrh
⇒ 2*22/7*28*15
= 2640 m²
Curved Surface Area of Cone = πrl
To find the Curved Surface Area of Cone, first we have to calculate the slant height of cone.
Slant Height of Cone = l = √r² + h²
⇒ √28² + 45²
⇒ √784 + 2025
⇒ √2809
⇒ Slant height of cone = 53 m
Curved Surface Area of Cone = πrl
⇒ 22/7*28*53
= 4664 m²
Total area of the cylindrical part and the conical part = 2640 + 4664
= 7304 m²
So, the area of the canvas required is 7304 m²
