The lower part of a circus tent is cylindrical and the upper part is conical .the diameter of the base of the tent is 56mand height of the cylindrical part is 15m.The total height of the tent is 60m.How much canvas is required for the tent.

l= root of( r square + h square)
 = root of (28 square + 60 square)
= root of (4384)
=66.21 (approx)
area of cone (curved) = pi x r x l
                                   = 22/7 x 28m  x 66.21m
                                total sheet required    = 5826.48 (approx)
