Then the radius of right circular cylinder and conic is \frac{Diameter}{2}

Total height of the cylinder is 8 cm

Therefore the height of conic is =(8-5)cm

The lateral surface area of the cylindrical shape is = 2\pi rh

                                                                    =(2\times 3.14 \times 4\times 5)cm²

                                                                   =125.6  cm²

The volume if the  cylindrical shape is = \pi r^2 h

                                                               =(3.14\times 4^2\times 5) cm³

                                                               =251.2  cm³

Therefore the the area of curved surface is

=conical shape +cylindrical shape

=(62.8+125.6) cm²

=188.4 cm²

The volume of the toy is =(50.24+251.2)cm³= 301.44 cm³
