The image provided by convex mirrors all have the same descriptions. They are:

Nature: Virtual
Orientation: Erect
Magnification: ALWAYS less than unity
Position: behind the mirror.

Based on the above; the magnification (m) of a convex mirror would have a range from zero to unity.

Since, magnification of convex mirror is 'm'

So, range of 'm' should be:-

0 < m ≤1

Nature of image is virtual, erect and behind the mirror.
Moreover, magnification is always less than unity.
