Hey there !

Solution:

Magnification is -3.

Inferences:

  1. The image formed is a real and inverted image.
  2. Magnitude or Value without sign is greater than 1, hence it is a enlarged image.
  3. Enlarged, Real image is only formed by a Concave Mirror. Hence the given mirror is a concave mirror.
  4. Enlarged image is formed when object is placed between the focus and the curvature. Hence the object is placed between Focus and Curvature while image is formed beyond Curvature.

These are the 4 main inferences that can be derived from the term Magnification is -3.

Refer to the picture for ray diagram of that situation.

Hope my answer helped !
