It is given that the magnification [m] = -1.5

As per the question, the mirror is a plane mirror.

From above, we see that the magnification is negative . The negative sign in magnification indicates  that image formed by a plane mirror is real and inverted.

Again the magnification is greater than one. It means that the height of image is greater than the height of object i.e the image is magnified.

But, the image formed in a plane mirror is virtual, erect and its magnification is 1.

Hence, the mirror can not be a plane mirror.
