Mirror A is a plane mirror  as same size erect image is formed .

Mirror B  is a concave mirror as enlarged image is formed .

Mirror C  is a convex  mirror as diminished and erect imaged is formed.

A  concave mirror is used as the dentist mirror because it produces an          enlarged image when an object is kept close  .

Tip:

+ve magnification means the image formed is virtual and erect. Mag more that 1 implies the image size is more than that of the object and less than 1 implies the opposite. And, dentist use concave mirror to see magnified image of teeth of patient.

Answer:

  • Mirror 1 = Plane mirror.
  • Mirror 2 = Concave mirror (Obj b/w F and O.)
  • Mirror 3 = Convex mirror

So, mirror 2 can be used as a dentist mirror.
