the magnifying power of an astronomical telescope in normal adjustment is 100. the distance between objective and eyepiece is 10 cm. find the focal length of the objective and eyepiece.

Length = focal length of eyepiece + focal length of objective lens

We know magnifying power in normal adjustment = focal length of objective lens divided by focal length of eye piece

Focal length of objective lens= 50 * 2= 100

Length= 100+2

           =102
