Given:

2 particles carrying charge 2 μC , separated by 1 cm.

To find:

Magnitude of electrostatic force?

Calculation:

Let force be F :

F =  \dfrac{1}{4\pi  \epsilon_{0}}  \times  \dfrac{ {q}^{2} }{ {d}^{2} }

 \implies F =( 9  \times {10}^{9}  ) \times  \dfrac{  {(2 \times  {10}^{ - 6}) }^{2} }{ {(0.01)}^{2} }

 \implies F =( 9  \times {10}^{9}  ) \times  \dfrac{4 \times  {10}^{ - 12}  }{ {10}^{ - 4} }

 \implies F =36  \times {10}^{9}   \times   {10}^{ - 8}

 \implies F =36  \times10

 \implies F =360 \: N

So electrostatic force between the charges is 360 N.
