Length, 1 z = 1/2 m, ∴ 1 m = 2 z
Putting these values in (1),
100 N = 100 × (1/2 x) × (2 z) / (1/2 y)^2
100 N = 100 × 1/2 × 2 × 4 xz/y^2
100 N = 400 xz/y^2
