Magnitude of:

vector product=ABsin(x)

scalar product=ABcos(x)

Given...

AB cos(x) = (sqrt3)AB sin(x)

=>cos(x)/sin(x) =(sqrt3)

=>cot(x)=(sqrt3)

=>x=30°

so 30° is your answer...
