As the two force quantities are vevtors, so we will add them through vector law of addition.

Resultant vector= under root a^2 +b^2 +2abcostheta

Since the angle between them is 90 (cos90=0)

Resultant vector = under root a^2 +b^2

a=3N. b=4N

Resultant vector = 5N (magnitude)

5^2=4^2+3^2+2*3*4cos(theta)
25=16+9+24cos(theta)
cos(theta)=o
theta=pi/2
angle between them=pi/2
