Dear Mother and Father,
It is the hardest of times we are going through. Who says that time refuses to pass in these days of self isolation! My time simply flies attending to household chores.
Ever since the outbreak of the pandemic spread by Covid-19 , self-curfew has been imposed in Durgapur. The Police are maintaining a strict vigil to ensure nobody breaks the rules. Under such circumstances my helping hands can no longer make themselves available.
My maid, cook and gardener are all on leave. I have to do all their chores along with looking after the family. How I wish you two were here. We could help each other and make work easier.
What about your condition? Who is helping you? I suppose you too have to do all the work. With Mother's back ache and Father's rheumatism it must be extremely difficult. Due to the lock down neither can you come to me nor can I visit you. Stay well and stay safe.
Write to me as soon as possible of how you are doing without external help.
