=> most of the space inside the atom is empty. therefore most of the Alpha particle when throat the gold foil without deflecting from their path.

=>There is a positive tiny part in the atom in its Centre which reflect the Alpha particle this must be containing the whole mass of the atom more over this mass must be occupying a very small space within the atom because only a few Alpha particle suffered last deflection this positive reachange heavy mass in the centre of the atom called nucleus the Alpha particle get deflected from their normal path when they came close to the nucleus due to the force of repulsion .

=>The deflections of the Alpha particle Tula jungles indicate that the Alpha particles has direct conclusion with positively charged in nucleus. it was observed that the volume of nucleus is very small as compared to total volume of the atom .

The main conclusion of Rutherford's experiment is that the whole mass of an atom is present in the centre of the atom in a very small volume, which he called nucleus. Protons and neutrons are present in nucleus and electrons revolve around the nucleus.

Volume of nucleus is 1/10000 the volume of atom...
