the foundation of twentieth century science, had its basic discoveries just at the turning years from the nineteenth to the twentieth century, perhaps by accident. (Cf. Appendix D, Topic 2, Radioactivity, Alpha, Beta and Gamma Rays and Topic 4, Quantum Born as a Result of Trial and Error Process.) Two outstanding discoveries are the quantum hypothesis by Max Planck in 1900 and the special theory of relativity by Albert Einstein in 1905. By these theories, physics and classical science born in the sixteenth century were innovated basically. It became clear that principles of science have their own realms of applicability.
