The main idea behind religious reform was to end complex rituals, worshipping of many gods and idol worship. Do you think people have accepted these reforms? Explain.

No....i don't think so as today also many people have blind faith in karma in blackmagic as well as they believe that slaughtering people or animals for god will wash tere

I think people have more or less accepted these reforms over the past centuries. Although it is vaguely maintained in may parts of the world, where cruelty or worshipping of many gods are still counted as tradition.

Sacrifices and crimes are still committed in the name of religion. Corruption is still in tact as a means of draining the common people out in the name of religion. But somehow, people have come to terms with these reforms such as Buddhism and Jainism. Many have embraced these reforms as their religions. Many have declined.

But with education and time have come enlightenment and knowledge. Humans are more open to thinking and acting rather than blindly following religious beliefs and practices.
