The main problem with using single regression line is it is limited to Single/Linear Relationships.
Extra Information - Linear or Single Regression line is that statistical method which is used for checking the relationship between dependent variable (denoted as y) and one or more independent variables (denoted as x) .
Independent variables can be of any type but , dependent variable must be continuous or close to that .
Dependent variable gets usually affected by independent variables.
More problems faced by Single Regression line are :-
1. Single Regression looks only at mean of dependent variable.
2. Single Regression is sensitive to Outliers ( Surprising data can be univariate or multivariate).
3.Data must be independent for Single Regression.
