So we have current I = 2 A, Power P = 50 W
Voltage v = 220 V
So we have current in each bulb will be
I = P/V
= 50 / 220
= 5/22 A
Therefore number of bulbs = maximum current / current through each bulb
= 2 / 5 / 22
= 44 / 5
= 8.8
= 9 bulbs
