Major chemical compound found in kidney stones is CALCIUM OXALATE.

Explanation:

Kidney is considered as organ of waste removal as it is involved in removal of waste and excretes it in form of urine. The major component of waste removed by the kidney is oxalic acid.

When the urine which is not excreted routinely and is stored in the urinary bladder for long period of time, reaction occurs between the calcium as well as oxalic acid. Thus this leads to the formation of kidney stone.
