The man who knew infinity movie review

Step-by-step explanation:

The Man Who Knew Infinity is a biopic that recounts the life and times of Ramanujan. He was a self-taught Indian Mathematician

and he was thought to have the ability to decipher the very fabric of existence. It's an extraordinary story that comes almost a century after Ramanujan's early and tragic death after contracting tuberculosis 1920.

Ramanujan was not only a mathematical prodigy by the age of 11,  he but he could mentally compute complex permutations in a fraction of a second.

Many people however could not fathom his  genius. Even the Cambridge scholars who elected him as a Fellow of the Royal Society and also a Fellow of Trinity College. He had no formal training in mathematics. The movie is based on this true story and it was adapted from a 1991 book of the same title, writer/director Matthew Brown begins the film in 1914 Madras . Ramanujan (Dev Patel) comes from a poor Brahmin family. In this setting even writing paper is a luxury.

He was seen frantically scribbling theorems on slate before sending  his work to scholars at Cambridge.

Cambridge academic G. H. Hardy (Jeremy Irons) was so impressed by his theories, that he invited Ramanujan to study in England  as his protégé and also as the missing link since Isaac Newton.
