The man who rescued the child was compassionate and kind because when the child found that he had lost his parents his eyes were covered with tears and he feels that he would never find them.Also the child feels that he had felt alone in the fair. The man wanted to console the child from the depression which the child have.He was kind and compassionate to handle the child and get him out from the thought he had by showing the things which would attract him in the fair
