→ Power used in climbing stairs
Solution:-
Total height climbed by the man :-
= 30 × 20cm
= 6m
Now, we know that :-
P = mgh/t
Where :-
• P is the power.
• m is mass of the body.
• g is acceleration due to gravity.
• h is height.
• t is time taken.
By substituting values, we get :-
=> P = 50×10×6/30
=> P = 500/5
=> P = 100 W
Thus, power used in climbing the stairs is 100W .
