The manager of a weaving factory estimates that if 10 machines run at 100% efficiency for 8 hours, they will produce 1450 meters of cloth. Due to some technical problems, 4 machines run of 95% efficiency and the remaining 6 at 90% efficiency. How many meters of cloth can these machines produce in 8 hours?

Answer:

2682.5metre

Step-by-step explanation:

Cloth machine can produce at full efficiency=1450m

efficiency of four machine=95%

=95/100×1450m

=1377.5m

efficiency of 6 other machine=90%

=90/100×1450

=1305m

total cloth made=1377.5m+1305

=2682.5m
