The map above shows where people live in the United States. Areas that are darker blue are areas where people live close together. Areas that are lighter colors are places where people live farther apart.   • According to the map of America, the eastern side of the continent is darker in color which means that they are closely settled and have a high density of population size were as the areas on the western side have low densities they are in light colour etc.
  • The elements of spatial terms the geography has stated the relationship in terms of people, places, and environments for mapping of information. The place and region shows how the people dwell in various places i.e their place of origin  
  • The human and environmental elements like the climate, soil type and natural vegetation affect the distribution of resources, etc. Movement describes how people travel from one region to another in search of jobs, commerce and to find better opportunities etc.  
  • The geographers may study the region i.e can be plain, mountainous or low land, island and a plateau.
