HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN:- Village M lies exactly halfway between the two pairs of villages A and B as well as and P and Q

It means , IN ∆PAM AND ∆ QBM,

AM = MB (M divide AB in equal parts)

PM = MQ (M divide PQ IN equal parts)

<M = <M (point of intersection)

Hence, ΔPAM ≅ ΔQBM (by SAS)

thus, AP = BQ (BY C.P.CT)
HENCE, THE DISTANCE BETWEEN \bold{\large{VILLAGE\;\;A\;\;AND \;\;VILLAGE\;\;B}}

AP = BQ = 4KM

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
