Find the price after the first discount:

Discount = 25%

Discount = 25% x 680 = 0.25 x 680 = Rs 170

Price after discount = 680 - 170 = Rs 510

Find the second discount:

Price before second discount = Rs 510

Price after second discount = Rs 408

Discount = 510 - 408 = Rs 102

Find the percentage of the discount:

Percentage of the discount = ( discount/price before discount ) x 100

Percentage of the discount = 102/510 x 100 = 20%

Answer: (b) 20%

Finding Discount Percentage -

Discount % = discount / MP x 100

= 102 / 510 x 100
