MP = 300 rupees

SP = 252 rupees

now to find discount % we need to know the discount...

so, discount = (MP-SP)

300-252 = 48

therefore, discount = 48

DISCOUNT % = (discount/MP)*100

= (48/300) *100

  (0.16)*100

   16

therefore dicount % = 16%

Given

Marked price is Rs 300

selling price is Rs 252 .

Finding discount --

Discount = marked price - selling price

= 300 - 252 = 48

discount = Rs 48

Finding discount percentage

discount percent = discount / marked price x 100

= 48/300 x 100

= 16 %

 \bold{Discount \: percentage \: = \: 16\: percentage}
