Given,

The marked price of a book = ₹100

Discount % = 25%

To find,

We have to find the sale price of a book.

Solution,

The sale price of a book is ₹75.

We have to find the sales price of a book which can be obtained easily

Discount in rupees = 25/100 * 100

                                = ₹ 25

Sales price = marked price - discount

                   = ₹100 -₹25

                   = ₹75

Hence, the sale price of a book is ₹75.
