Answer:

  • Marked Price = Rs. 45,000
  • Discount = 15 %
  • VAT = 10 %

Solution :-

Discount of 15% on Rs. 45,000.

➸ 15/100 * 45,000

➸ 15 * 450

➸ Rs. 6,750

So, the price = 45,000 - 6,750

➸ Rs. 38,250

Now, VAT on the new price.

➸ 10% on 38,250

➸ 10/100 * 38,250

➸ Rs. 3,825

So, 38,250 + 3,825

➸ Rs. 42,075

Hence, the final selling price = Rs. 42,075.
