Answer:

Given:-

Marked Price of a ceiling fan (MP) = ₹175

Discount allotted on the ceiling fan (D%) = 6%

To find:-

Selling Price of ceiling fan (SP)

Formula used:-

D = D% x MP

S.P = MP Discount

Solution:-

Discount 6% of MP

Discount = 6% of 1750

Discount = 6/100% x 1750

Discount = ₹105

so, SP of fan = MP of fan - Discount on fan

SP of fan = ₹1750 - ₹105 = ₹1645

Hence, the selling price of the fan is ₹1645.
