Selling price after first discount=3200×90÷100=2880

Let the second discount be x%then

x%of 2880=2880-2448

2880×x÷100=432

Second Discount = 15 %  if MP of clock 3200 , sold at Rs 2448 at two successive discounts , 1st being 10 %

Step-by-step explanation:

The marked price of a clock is 3200

First Discount = 10 %

10% Discount = (10/100)3200 = Rs 320

Price after 1st Discount = 3200 - 320  = 2880 Rs

Clock Sold at  Rs 2448

=> 2nd Discount = 2880 - 2448   =  432 Rs

432 rs Discount on Rs 2880

2nd Discount % = (432/2880) * 100  =  4320/288

= 15%

Second Discount = 15 %
