\sf\large\underline{Given:}

  • \tt{The\:marked\: price\:of\: phone=Rs.1200}
  • \tt{Sold\:at\:a\: discount=25\%}

\sf\large\underline{To\: Find:}

  • \rm{The\: selling\: price\:of\: phone=?}

\sf\large\underline{Solution:}

  • By applying formula to calculate SP]

\sf\large\underline{Formula\:used:}

\rm{\implies SP=MP\times\bigg(\dfrac{100-D\%}{100}\bigg)}

\rm{\implies SP=1200\times\bigg(\dfrac{100-25}{100}\bigg)}

\rm{\implies SP=1200\times\bigg(\dfrac{75}{100}\bigg)}

\rm{\implies SP=12\times\:75}

\rm{\implies SP=Rs.900}

\sf\large{Hence,}

\rm{\implies Selling\: price\:_{cordless\: phone}=Rs.900}

\sf\large\underline{Some\: related\: formula}

\rm{\implies SP=MP-P}

\rm{\implies D\%=\dfrac{MP-SP}{MP}\times\:100}

Given

Mp=1200

D=25%

to find:

Selling price

Sp=Mp(100-d/100)

Sp=1200×(100-25/100)

Sp=1200×75/100

Sp=12×75=900

Therefore, selling price of phone is rs900
