Given,
The Marked Price (M.P.) of medicine = RS. = 155.50
Rate of Sales Tax = 6%

To find,
Total amount including Sales Tax

Solution,
Let the Total price including Sales Tax be x
Then,
x = 155.50+(6/100*155.50)
x = 155.50+(933/100)
x = 155.50+9.33
x = 164.83
So, the man had to pay RS. 164.83 to buy the medicine.
