SP = MP× ( 100 - discount % ) = 480× 90 / 100

100 = Rs. 432

NOW , SP = Rs. 432 , Gain = 8%

CP = SP × 100 / ( 100 + gain % ) = 432×100/108

= Rs. 400

If there was no discount , SP = MP = Rs. 480

Gain = Rs. 480 - Rs. 400 = rs.80

=> Gain% = gain / CP × 100 = 20 % .
