Answer:

15156

Step-by-step explanation:

two dimension formula discount indicates -

so -25-20+(-25*-20)/100

-45+5= -40%

25260 -40% of 25260

25260-10104= 15156

two dimension formula X+y+(X*y)/100

Answer:

the price the customer has to pay for the refrigerator is rs. 15,156.

Given:

A shopkeeper allows 2 successive discounts of 25% and 20% respectively.

To find:

the price the customer has to pay for the refrigerator.

Solution:

two successive discounts' formula = [X + Y + (XY) / 100]

where:

X= discount one

Y= second discount

according to the question,

discount % =  [X + Y + XY / 100]

discount % = -25 -20 + (-25*-20) /100

discount % = - 45 + 5

discount % = -40%

so, discount = 40%

sp = mp - discount

sp = 25260 - (40/100 x 25260)

sp = 25260 - 10104

sp = 15,156

Hence, 15,156 is the correct answer.
