Ritu brought it for = 120

so , Ritu brought it for 10 rupees less

assume that discount = x%

[ to find percentage , you have to make it by total and multiply it by 100]

x= 10/130 x 100

x = 1000/130

= 100/13

= 7.69

Therefore the discount is 7.69%

You can round it off : 7.69 % ≈ 8%
