Amount paid by shopkeeper is 8838 rupees.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Given that

         Marked price (M.P)= 9000

         Selling price of article(S.P) = Marked price = 9000

2. Let cost price of article = x

         GST on article is given = 18%

         Amount paid by shopkeeper as CGST = 162

3. Here is not mention that profit gain by shopkeeper, so we take

         Profit = 0 rupees

4.  Cost Price + GST amount + CGST amount + Profit = Selling price

    \mathbf{C.P + \frac{18}{100}\times C.P + CGST + Profit= S.P}

    On pitting respective value

   \mathbf{x + \frac{18}{100}\times x + 162 + 0= 9000}

   \mathbf{x + \frac{18}{100}\times x= 9000-162=8838}

   \mathbf{x + \frac{18}{100}\times x=8838= amount paid by shopkeeper including GST}
