After allowing 20 percent discount

The price will be 1920
But
VAT Increases the price to 2208
After subtract 2208 -1920=288

So 288 is the 15 percent of 1920

Then answer will be 15percent VAT

Answer:

15%

Step-by-step explanation:

S. p = (100-20)% of mp

=80/100×2400

=1920

(1+vat%) of sp = s. p with VAT

(1+vat%)1920 = 2208

vat% = (2208/1920)-1

= 1.15-1

= 0.15

so VAT = 0.15×100

thus VAT =15%
