Equilant discount of successive discount of 20% and 10%

=\left ( 20+10-\frac{20\times 10}{100} \right )%=28%

∴ Selling price = (100 – 28)% of Rs. 500 = 72% of 500

=\frac{500\times 72}{100}=Rs. 360

Hence option [A] is the right answer.
