Here's , Ur Answer :-

C.P of the article be rs x.

profit%=25%

S.P=(100+25/100)x X

S. P=rs125/100x

MP of the item = rs500

Discount %=15%

=Discount =15%of 260=5/100x500=rs 25

SP=MP-discount =rs (500-25)=rs475

from equation 1 and 2 we get ,

125/100x=475

therefore x=475×100/125= Rs 380.

Solution :-

What we have ??

MP - 500

DISCOUNT - 5%

PROFIT - 25%

------------------------------

Price after Discount

= 500(5/100)×500

= 500-25

= 475

Getting Profit -

on 475 he get 25% as profit

Let Cost Price be  = x

=>  x+25/100x = 475

=>  x+1/4x = 475

=>  5/4x = 475

=>  x = 475× 4/5

=>  x =380 = Cost Price of Article
