Step-by-step explanation:

if d%=20%

Then,

sp=Mp-d%of mp

=18000-20÷100×18000

=14400

if d% =10%

then

sp= 18000- 10/100×18000

=16200

if d%=5%

then,

mp=sp-d%of mp

=18000-5/100×18000

=17100

Given :-

● The marked Price of TV = 18000

● The offered discount percentage are 20% , 10% and 5%

Solution :-

The first discounted price offered on TV

As we know that,

= Discount %/100 * MP

Here,

Marked Price of TV = Rs 18000

Discount percentage = 20%

Put the required values in the formula,

20/100 * 18000

20 * 180 = 3600

Now,

Actual price of TV = 18000 - 3600 = 14,400

Thus,

Actual price of TV after deducting is Rs 14,400

Now,

He offered second discount of 10%

But, Here

TV price of discounted amount = 14400

Therefore,

10/100 * 14400

10 * 144 = 1440

Therefore,

Actual price of TV = 14400 - 1440= 12960

However,

The actual price of TV after discounted is Rs. 12960 .

Now,

He offered Third discount of 5%

But, Here

The actual price of TV after deducting = Rs12960

Therefore,

5/100 * 12960

5/10 * 1296 = Rs 648

Now,

The Actual price of TV = 12960 - 648

= Rs12312

Hence, He should pay Rs12, 312 for the TV .
