The market price of a shirt is ₹275. A customer is offered 20% discount on it. what will be the selling price?​

Given:

Market price: Rs. 275

Discount: 20%

Selling Price: ?

Solution:

Discounted amount(SP):

\frac{20}{100}  \times 275

 \frac{1}{5 }  \times 275

Discount:

275 \div 5 = 55

CP-Discount=SP

275 - 55 = 220

Rs.220 is the answer
